Ramadan Activities Day # 6

SENDING SALUTATION TO

OUR DEAR PROPHET MUHAMMAD
&
IMPORTANCE OF SURAH IKHLAS

Over the weekend things were a lil slow with Abi at home and Iftar program at the mosque. Plus I finally got to do some homeschool room organizing Alhumdolillha! So here's what we did manage to do.

Lil Mualliamh's Activities

Sending a special gift to the one who is best among people

Our Dear Prophet Muahmmad Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam

In the light of the following ayah we reviewed the concept of sending blessings upon the Prophet.

Verily Allah and his angels send their blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe! Send your blessings upon him and salute him with a goodly salutation. (Chapter 33 Verse 56)

The Craft

When Lil Muallimah was done coloring the first gift she said I want to send one more gift hence the two gifts.

Ramadan Activity Bag day # 6

For years Lil Muallim # 1 has been making a crescent with foil every Ramadan. This time we turned it into an activity for Lil Muallimah. I cut out 5 crescent chapes out of left over card stock and Lil Muallim # 1 covered them with foil.

Lil Muallim # 2's Activities

Hadith: "Surah Ikhlas equals 1/3 of Quran"

We continued our discussion on Suarh Ikhlas with Lil Muallim # 2 and reviewed why we read it every night before going to sleep. I also told him the hadith about reading it after every Salah.

I asked him to think how much ajr could that be if we could read the whole Quran after every salah and every night. Allah is truly merciful by making this small surah so easy on the tongue equal 1/3 of the Quran giving us the opportunity to gain high rewards. Will we do it?
